When the ISOCELL Vizion 33D is used as an autofocus tool, the sensor requires 200 milliwatts of energy (this energy is given to the sensor and the infrared sensor itself). The Samsung sensor will require 400 milliwatts of power to provide continuous subject monitoring in modes such as augmented reality games or rendering bokeh-effect videos. However, even when the sensor requires 400 milliwatts of power, the phone’s battery does not drain quickly.
