In August 2018, Pokémon Xiaomi unveiled a smartphone called Pokémon F1 for the Indian market, which, despite having the same specifications as the flagship smartphones, was offered to the fans at a very reasonable price. After the popularity of this model and the global version, the Poco F1, it was expected that the new generation would be designed and released very soon, however, Poco left Xiaomi about a year and a half later and continued to work as an independent collection. . In early 2020, the company unveiled a mid-range smartphone called the Poco X2, which is no different from the Xiaomi Redmi K30 in terms of design and hardware specifications, and is equipped with the Snapdragon 730G.
Now, on Tuesday, May 12, 2016, the Chinese company responded positively to user demand and introduced its third smartphone, the Poco F2 Pro, in China. The phone is actually an unmodified version of the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro, which was launched in China in March this year.
The Poco F2 Pro is a flagship smartphone with a Snapdragon 865 processor, and company executives compare it to advanced handsets such as the Galaxy S20 + and the OnePlus 8 Pro. The specifications of this phone have been significantly improved compared to the Poco F1. The new Poco product is produced in the dimensions of 163.3×75.4×8.9 mm and weighs 218 grams. Equipped with a jumper or pop-up selfie camera, the new Poco product has become a full-screen smartphone without a cut at the top of the screen. There is also a very small margin at the bottom and around the display panel. The 6.67-inch screen is made exactly like the Redmi K30 Pro with AMOLED technology and uses a full HD resolution (equivalent to 1080 x 2400 pixels). The maximum brightness of this display is 800 nits and in addition to supporting HDR + 10 with the standard of TÜV Rheinland company, it prevents a large amount of harmful blue light and harmful rays from reaching the user’s eyes. One of the disadvantages of the new Poco phone is its display upgrade rate, which is 60 Hz, unlike some mid-range smartphones with 90 or even 120 Hz panels. The device’s optical fingerprint sensor is located inside the display, and Poco has included a Gorilla Glass 5 cover to protect the front and back of the product.
As mentioned, the Poco F2 Pro uses the Snapdragon 865 for processing tasks. This 8-core mobile platform with a fifth generation SD X55 modem supports 5G technology in both SA and NSA modes. The Snapdragon 865 is one of the most powerful chips in the world right now, with one 2.84 GHz core, three 2.42 GHz cores (based on the Cortex A77 processor architecture) and four 1.8 GHz cores (based on the Cortex A55 processor architecture). Graphics processing in this set is done by Adreno 650, for which the ability to update the graphics driver is provided. The phone comes in two memory configurations that differ in terms of RAM speed. The more advanced version comes with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of high-speed UFS 3.1 internal storage. Another example uses 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, still UFS 3.1, and due to the lack of support for the microSD memory card, storage space can not be increased in either of these two examples.
Oppo’s new product uses a liquid cooling system called LiquidCool 2.0 to maintain the smartphone’s performance during heavy-duty processing, which includes three layers of graphite, graphene and a steam chamber or Super VC, and apparently with a larger steam chamber compared to similar models from rival companies. It will have better performance in terms of cooling the phone.
The Poco F2 Pro camera set is housed in a circular frame distinct from the rear body. This module is black and has four cameras on all four sides. The main camera with a 1 / 1.7-inch sensor is a 64-megapixel model of Sony IMX686 with an aperture of f / 1.89, and with pixel combination technology, it can achieve 1.6-micron dimensions at a resolution of 16 megapixels. The camera supports 8K video recording at 24 frames per second and 4K at 60 frames per second. The second camera is a 13-megapixel one with an ultra-wide-angle lens with a 123-degree field of view. Finally, a 5-megapixel telemacro module with f / 2.2 and autofocus capability and a 2-megapixel depth-detection sample complete the set.
The Poko F2 Pro delivers high-quality audio with Hi-Res audio confirmation and is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device will be available in Phantom White, Neon Blue, Electric Purple and Cyber Gray, and is equipped with NFC, Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 6 in terms of connectivity.
