Render images released of the Galaxy S21 Plus in cyberspace show Samsung’s next-generation flagship having a flat screen.
Recently, images attributed to the Galaxy S21 and S21 Ultra were posted in cyberspace, which introduced us to the next generation of Samsung’s flagships. Now it seems that it is the turn of the Galaxy S21 Plus to surprise the fans of the Korean company’s products with its appearance design during the revelation of images.
In the rendering images, you can see a slight difference between the Galaxy S21 Plus and the Galaxy S20 Plus, which, of course, seems logical. The Galaxy S20 series has a beautiful design and has been able to attract positive reviews from critics and users. For this reason, it seemed far-fetched that the engineers and designers of the Korean company would decide to make many changes in the design of the Galaxy S21 series.
The Galaxy S21 Plus will use a camera module with a different layout
In all three versions of the Galaxy S21 series, you can see that the main camera module on the back panel has a slight bulge. However, such a bulge is unpleasant to some users and also puts the camera module at risk of impact damage. Like the S20 Plus, the Galaxy S21 Plus seems to host a triple camera module on its back panel; But we have to wait and see if the Korean company in its next generation flagship will use a combination of different cameras or we will see the same combination of the Galaxy S20 Plus triple camera in the S21 Plus version.
The main camera module on the back panel of the Galaxy S 21 Plus is not the only part that has changed; But the screen has also changed a bit, and instead of having curvature at the edges of the screen, we have a completely flat model. In fact, the edges of the screen are smooth, and the curvature can only be seen in the frame that connects the two glass panels.
Another thing that caught our eye was the hole at the top of the screen that hosts the selfie camera. Such a design indicates that the Galaxy S21 Plus will not have a selfie camera hidden under the screen; Technology that some Chinese companies are rapidly using in their next generation flagships.
Unfortunately, in terms of hardware information, very few details of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus have been released in cyberspace, and we only know that it has a 7.6-inch screen. However, a new report with rendering images of the Galaxy S21 Plus points to the dimensions of the Korean company’s next-generation smartphone; Goya S21 Plus has dimensions of 161.5 by 6.75 mm and has a thickness of 85.7 mm.
Considering the dimensions of the Galaxy S21 Plus, it can be said that like the previous generation, we are dealing with a smartphone that has a stretched screen and, thanks to its very small dimensions and thickness, has a very good ergonomics. The power button and volume rockers are located on the right side of the Galaxy S21 Plus, and at the bottom of the device, there is a USB Type-C port to charge the smartphone as well as transfer data from other devices to the next-generation Samsung flagship. Next to the port is a speaker compartment for users to listen to audio files.
The Korean company is expected to unveil the Galaxy S21 series in mid-January 2021. The Galaxy S21 series includes three smartphones, each of which will be available in two models equipped with the Snapdragon 875 chip or the latest model of Samsung’s Exynos chip, depending on the market. Basically, the versions for the US and Chinese markets use the Snapdragon 875 chip, and for other markets around the world, the Korean company’s flagships with the Exynos chip go on display in stores.
